Facilities & Car Parking

The Village Hall is decorated to a high standard,is licensed for a maximum of 100 persons and comprises:

•  Main Hall (16.3m x 9.9m)with a timber sprung floor and includes a fixed stage area

 

•  Small Hall (5.5m x 8.2m) with bi-folding doors opening into the adjoining kitchen

 

There is a kitchen available for use by those hiring the hall. 

 

Separate male, female and disabled cloakrooms are accessible via the Main Hall. A nappy changing facility is situated in the ladies' cloakroom.

There are 100 folding padded chairs and 16 folding tables. Hirers are responsible for setting up and putting these away and the chairs are retained in trolleys for ease of moving them.

 

The kitchen includes an electric double oven/hob, fridge, microwave and kettle. Please note it does not include crockery or cutlery.

 

12 parking spaces are available directly outside the Hall, with further spaces available in the adjacent public ‘free’ parking area.

 

The Hall is fully DDA (Disability Discrimination Act)compliant and includes a lift for the sole use of the disabled; a designated disabled parking space and ramps to door entrances.

Emergency lighting and fire detection systems have been installed throughout the building.

 

We hold a Performing Rights Society Music Licence (Community Building) this covers live and pre-recorded music in all formats. In consideration of our neighbours a noise limiting system has been installed in the Main Hall.

 

We do not hold a liquor licence.
